People say it cant happen, but we need to REALLY think about what were going to do to avoid making ourselves obsolete. A world of technological workers negates the entirety of our economic principles. No current economic theory handles this. So what does? Star Trek. Star Trek does. Economics will negate itself, perhaps this is fate. Perhaps the great test that our children will face is whether or not they can adapt to an economy based on common availability. Can they form an economy that values self-improvement over resource gathering?
