The men and women in uniform are just that....men and women. Try to remember this when you look down at those cops because you dont think we are doing our jobs to your satisfaction. Try to remember that we are the sheepdogs that protect you sheep as you enjoy your lives secure from the evil you pretend does not exists. Try to remember that while sometimes we are hard and cold, it is a protection mechanism which grows as a result of events such as this. But also try to remember that while you may not like us, and we may not like you, that will not lessen our willingness to help you in your moment of need. Try to remember that we will give our lives to protect yours, no matter what you feel about us. We are the Sheepdogs who protect the flock. We will bleed and fight and battle and die, and we will do this for you without a second thought. Today we lost 3 members of our family because they went after the wolf unflinchingly, unquestioningly and with the belief they were protecting you. They are family. They will be avenged. They will be remembered. They will be honoured.
