People think they have to "save a dog." Hey, this is a big business! Kind of funny the man who employs 15 people to drive strays and shelter dogs to be sold in Mass. shelters complains about competition. Good thing the Dept. of Agriculture has regulations to help curb the shipment of sick dogs up here. But at some point people have to stop and think that what needs to be done is to stem the tide. Presently, shelters are actually offering people $25 a puppy so they have dogs to ship. This is the way of the new pet stores. There is no incentive to limit the number of strays because there is a market for them.
