People want nothing to do with the Church when it looks like, acts like, talks like, and shares the same values as the world. When this happens, all people see is a corporate organization that requires weekly attendance, demands a financial contribution for participation, with nothing more than a collection of hypocrites as members. It is only when the church is distinctively different from the world that she has the power and moral authority to confront a sinful population.
