People who take advantage of others, mind boggles me. I had the privilege to acquaintance myself with a Jamaican woman from my social science class. She explained to me how in her 40s being an immigrant trying to get an education was difficult. Without her not needing to say anything more about those hardships, she told me she had given a tutor a generous sum of money only to realize she did not give her the correct guidance. To my surprise she was correct, still struggling and work filled with incorrect everything. Someone like myself who also struggles in English, I was not sure how I could help but needless to say I attempted. She told me she had not received such guidance in a long time, this one woman had made me realize, it is true that I indeed am able to help people. At the end of the day all I can say is that tutor still expected more money and the only thing I can feel is sadness. The tutor had left her in struggle, but I feel good to know even if i am not the best in literature I was able to be there. Best feeling in the world.
