“Perfect honeymoon destination.” by one of our special Guest! We visited this remote, peaceful idyl looking out over Stromboli at the very end of their opening season (late October) as the beginning to our honeymoon. We have never stayed somewhere with such attentive staff, beautiful rooms or striking views. A truly indescribable level of attention to detail has gone into furnishing the place, and almost every item of furniture is a design icon, or antique curiosity. After the wonderful surprise upgrade to room 34 (photo) with a private terrace, we were totally smitten with pre dinner cocktails watching the sun go down over the Aeolians, perched above the lovely gardens stocked with lemon and avocado trees. The surroundings are enchanting; we spent our days exploring lovely secluded spots and mooching along sunny coastal roads to tranquil, sleepy island villages.... from trip advisor
