Perhaps Ms. Kallin is guilty of watching too many courtroom dramas on television, and they influenced her judgement. Or maybe she was truly oblivious to the meaning of the song she was reciting the lyrics from. It is possible that her education was so narrowly focused on getting that law degree, that Kallin was never exposed to any books, or courses, that would have set off a warning bell when she was composing her closing argument.
