Perhaps Phil the bully was a postie in a previous life....?? (Apologies for that rubbish joke but maybe it will help a tiny bit to take this nonsense) we dont know what planet Phil that planet Phil is on, but its not reality for the VAST MAJORITY OF IRISH PEOPLE. This low-down sell-out knew he had a EU job lined up two years ago if the rumours we heard then (which turned out spot on) are to be believed. This, in our opinion, is his thirty pieces of silver, for being the ECB/ troikas bully-boy and taking the flak for Enda the cowardly for many of their most unpopular decisions. Be under NO illusions. This plushly paid job does NOT reflect any ability, and many would say the post will suffer under his tenure. What makes us furious about this is the BLATANT REWARDS FOR THE GANG. Phil none of us will forget the suffering you and your FG/Labour cronies have done. Under DDI the people can choose justice. And you might not like what the people decide. We dont know if theyd choose one of our local suggestions- to live off job seekers allowance in ballybeg doing community work for the rest of your working life- with NO fat pension, and NO assets. How does that sound? Luxurious compared to some suggestions weve heard. And it would be hard on the good people of Ballybeg to put up with you- but being a generous sort, we know youd be made welcome!
