Perhaps the holidays arent a festive, exciting time for some of you. I can relate to that feeling, since my family didnt celebrate anything growing up, other than Thanksgiving, which always brought arguments. The holidays were an awkward, lonely, and isolating time for me for so many years. But Ive been trying hard for the last several years to do something to change the holiday blues that come on from sad or negative memories. Starting new traditions, learning new recipes, inviting friends around, and catching myself when the blues try to come on. I challenge you to do the same. We CAN recreate our own meaning of the holidays!! :)
