Perhaps this is the only time in the year when they can afford these items. Perhaps you are all not out scrabbling along with them because you could afford to buy your crap last month. Perhaps we ought to ask why people are deliberately financially forced into these embarrassing scenarios. Why cant they access said items all year round? Why are corporate profits allowed to determine human behaviour in these ways? Is this a yearly show put on to sidle off the rest of us? An outright divisive tactic even? Were not going down that worn out old track again. Right.
