Perhaps, unfortunately, those who believe that connection through social media isn’t deep or meaningful or “real” will someday miss out on what I’ve been experiencing the past couple days. When I read the words youve written on my dad’s Facebook page, in a message to me, a post or text, it’s as if Ive invited you into my living room – opening my hurting heart to all your words, I let them wash over me. Though I might not have responded, know that I’ve soaked up every word. They were written when I needed them. Talk about living into Matthew 5:4. I’m mourning and I’m comforted and I’m blessed.
