Periodically I get messages @ FB Pages asking what s new (@ page name this one, for example) . . ., a prompt to write something to post. So, I thought Id try to write about what was going on when I saw on the iPhone a little red notification dot on the app in the grid array on the lcd screen. Some things are easier on the mobile, or different, for example, @ the FB Messenger app one can touch a box with text & copy a block of text, something that on a laptop or a PC involves different moves by fingers. The connection @ the power cable plugged into a power strip was a little loose & a low battery warning came up while I was thinking about to write or not to write, which now in this example implies, contains even, to post or not to post, so instead of jiggling the offending whatnot, since the power cable is long, about as long as this story, I plugged it into a wall receptacle, aka a plug, generically, which can be confusing, hence the term one might use at the electrical supply house. Depending on where you are the store may or may not help you in what you need if you need electrical work in your abode. In Manhattan, when I did that kind of work, if you didnt know the name of an item you could get lost, not a bad thing as electrical is not a do it yourself, kids try this at home kind of thing, one can get shocked & die even . . . (in the key of mobile, to go dot dot dot requires 3 taps, or is it 4 , Maybe 5, even ?, Where to start ? Step 1. Uncap [after a period the keyboard autocaps] {more confusion with names for similar functions, laptop/PC vs. iPhone vs. antique typewriters}[comparative typesetting division, 21st century dept., old habits die hard variety, new technology makes for new approaches, breaking habit/routine is either annoying or refreshing depending on ones pov &/or sense of humor), for another example, key marked return on mobile keyboard, { key, what key ? now one must also be a locksmith & a music composer}, return becomes enter , shift is not column shift or move to next line but the cap function,@ laptop/pc, whereas, @ iPhone keyboard often typos occur @ i & o ,keep happening al the time in mobile typing mode, especially on a bus. I got used to proofreading in real time, to avoid erase redo lose train [of thought, remember, were on a bouncing bus, not a train} 2. Return 3. #s to get dot, 4. back & forth - letters to # to punc marks, 5. space bar, etc.) Maybe since the battery was low, the plug switch thing made for a restart,or it was a daily update or something else, so I wasnt sure if the laptop was permanently dead, so some of this OCD routine rose out of commenting on what it is is what it was. The laptop came back to life for this now edit, so I can wish you a have a good one. Other than that, not much is new , hows about U ?
