Perseverant Perseverant = Steady persistence in a course of action, a purpose, a state, etc., especially in spite of difficulties, obstacles, or discouragement. continuance in a state of grace to the end, leading to eternal salvation. “If you are going through hell, keep going.” ― Winston Churchill Perseverance is when a person, or group of people continue to work towards a goal, no matter what the obstacles are. To have perseverance is to have constant determination. In doing so, you are able to continue a course of action without having regard to discouragement. History has demonstrated that the most notable winners usually encountered heartbreaking obstacles before they triumphed. They won because they refused to become discouraged by their defeats. Even the woodpecker owes his success to the fact that he uses his head and keeps pecking away until he finishes the job he starts. “The brick walls are there for a reason. The brick walls are not there to keep us out. The brick walls are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something. Because the brick walls are there to stop the people who don’t want it badly enough. We have His word It is hold fast persevere. Dont give up. Put on the whole armour of God use every weapon He has given us use every gift at our disposal and look ahead with joy, because we are going to be crowned by Him Who is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. When we see the promise of God, then we can be perseverant. We can really believe, stay there because its Gods promise. Perseverance, it means to be persistent in making a goal. You must be fully persuaded and be persistent. Then youre perseverant. Before you can be perseverant, you have to have faith in what youre trying to achieve. Youve got to first have faith before you can be perseverant. So faith and perseverance works hand in hand together. You must be persistent, no matter how you feel, what you think, or nothing about it. Just hold on. If you really believe it, you will hold on. Stay right with your convictions. To be persistent, means youve got your mind made up about what youre going to do.
