Pete and I just got back from watching a movie that is quite possibly my favourite movie of the year. I am still reeling from the fantastic ride this well crafted and beautifully written script has delivered and proud of the Aussies Michael and Peter Spierig (Daybreakers) for bringing onto the big screen a perfect adaptation. I have never been a fan of Ethan Hawke, infact I have often been put off by movies with him in it, well I can now safely say that I am a convert, I think he delivers a performance of a lifetime (You will understand this more so when you have watched the movie all the way through) and Sarah Snook delivers a ridiculously amazing performance as her first acting role. I have never been in a cinema before where people were gasping and clapping in unison. Just unreal. Pete said that this is the perfect movie to take someone on a first date, and if they dont like it, you need to turn to them, shake their hands and say, Im sorry, I cant see you anymore hahahahaha I cant rave about this enough. Please go out and see it, and watch this clip which thankfully gives nothing away!
