Merlin. He is such a majestic hunk of cat, a big guy, 11 years old and declawed. He is in the back room right now. He requires meds each day to control his thyroid issue. But he takes his pill and is doing great! And as many of you familiar with this condition know, the pills are not that expensive. Dale has the same thing, is adopted now and doing fine I always open the door and say hi to Merlin. He is SO LOVABLE I can hardly stand it. He starts purring as soon as I get close to his cage. And when I open the door he stands up (ever the gentleman.) He comes forward and lowers his head so I can pet him. He is definitely a hidden treasure back there and one that is overlooked time and time again. If you are looking for an older declawed cat, a really nice guy who is just waiting and hoping for someone to take him home, Merlin has been here since June and would really like a break.
