Peter N Janice Chacon 3 minutes ago Thank You Lord, for opening my eye to another Day! Good-Morning Family and Friends!++[He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from Him; He was despised and we esteemed Him not. ISAIAH 53:3]++Rejection and Acceptance: Its true that acceptance is something we all need, want and enjoy, bu it is not our goal. Its important to remember that the Lord we follow was not accepted. He knew the feelings of rejection and aloneness. He lived with pressing crowds, irregular hours and the lack of a place to lay His head. Others did not always understand Him. Yet Scripture gives us a clear picture of how Christ responded in the face of rejection. He walked humbly, not regarding equality with God a thing to be grasped (PHILIPPIANS 2:6). He did not draw attention to His credentials or to His successes. Not everyone will be accepting and responsive to you. But one friendship blessed by common goals and oneness in the Spirit of God can insulate against the pain of isolation you may feel from others. Your spouse, of course, can be the friend who gives you support and strength. When we experience feelings of Isolation, we need to continually ask ourselves: How can I love this person? How can I minister to that persons needs? This will not eliminate loneliness; it will not even always remove the pain of isolation. It will, however, keep your focus on your walk before others rather than on their approval or disapproval. After speaking to three of my cousins Debra Chacon, Nancy Chacon, Rudy G. Chacon, yesterday, I felt a sense of emptiness in them from losing their Mother. It taught me, no matter who in my family brothers, sisters, or any relative rejects me, I know I have acceptance with my Mother and Father, whom we should treat with Loving Care, we will only know their true value when we see their empty chair! Out of all this, I Know I am accepted by Our Heavenly Father, Amen? Please read: ISAIAH 53:1-6. May God Bless You All!!!......Pete.
