Phantom, a good movie. At the peak of the cold war, Soviet ballistic missile submarine went missing in the South Pacific in May of 1968. The sudden disappearance of this submarine brought the Soviet Union and the United States within inches of a nuclear war. Captain Demi, his crew and submarine, B67 class, were over taken by a rouge KGB group. The submarine was fitted with a cloaking device and nuclear missile. The Captain and crew stopped the missile from detonating but not from being launch. After the submarine was raised, even to this date, the intentions remain classified by both governments. It is believed the Americans recovered the unexploded missiles from the ocean floor. The men on that Soviet submarine gave their lives to stop a nuclear war.
