Philanderer Ludhiana industrialist honeytrapped by ladylove LUDHIANA: It is a typical Bollywood flick with an estranged woman friend of a leading industrialist trying to blackmail the man for being pregnant from him. The only difference is that this is a real story or an ambitious young beautiful woman, married for a few years, who exploited the weaknesses of a flamboyant and philanderer industrialist far too elder to her, with a weakness for all good things in life, particularly beautiful women. The leading Ludhiana industrialist who has created a niche in real estate business has been taken aback to learn that he has actually been honeytrapped and is now finding it difficult to get rid of his pregnant erstwhile ladylove whom he used describe as his lucky charm, who is threatening to sue him for rape and forcibly making her pregnant. Known to be a flamboyant philanderer, the said businessman who was into a relationship with the woman, much younger to him, is learnt to be making lucrative offers to her to terminate her pregnancy and withdraw the claims that he was responsible for it. However, he is finding it difficult to reach any mutually agreeable bargain. It is learnt that the two were seeing each other for quite some time. To his utter shock, one fine day the woman sounded the industrialist about her pregnancy which he “advised” to be terminated, but she refused. This was shocking for the industrialist who was known to have pampered her with loads of money, expensive gifts including swank cars, diamond and gold jewellery. The woman, who is believed to have taken her husband and other family members into confidence, wants to fight it out with the philanderer businessman and wants to make it sure that he does not get away with it. That is the reason she has been threatening to sue him for “rape”. The buzz in the Ludhiana business and social circles is that the woman has made it clear that she will not abort the pregnancy and has been openly disclosing the identity of the man responsible for making her pregnant to her close family and friends. She is learnt to have reportedly conveyed it to the man that she may not hesitate in going public about it. Given the social repercussions the industrialist is likely to face, he is reportedly learnt to have sought help of some leading industrialists in the city to reach a compromise with the woman, who have approached her friends to withdraw her claim - of course for a price. The woman and her family are reportedly demanding Rs 35 crore from him in bargain to terminate the pregnancy, while he has reportedly offered to pay Rs 5 crore. The woman and her family are threatening to sue the businessman for rape and damages. It is learnt that initially the industrialist questioned the claims of the woman that he was the man responsible for making her pregnant. He even accused of putting someone else’s blame on her that infuriated her more and firmed up her resolve to take her fight to a logical conclusion. People known to the couple recall as how the industrialist used to describe the woman to be his lucky charm and would always ensure that she kept him company for important occasions whether in business or gambling. She would also accompany him for his business trips as he believed, or made people believe, that she always brought good luck to him that ultimately may prove too expensive for the flamboyant and philanderer industrialist both in terms of money and respect.
