Philemon 1:7 For we have great joy and consolation in thy love, - TopicsExpress

Philemon 1:7 For we have great joy and consolation in thy love, because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by thee, brother. Every person in your life brings a charge--positive, negative, or neutral. The neutral people are like water; they sustain but dont have have a strong impact either way. They are associates. Then there are the Red Bull people who believe in God and in you. They give you wings which is what the church is supposed to do. Then there are the vampires who suck the life out of you with their negativity. They are like prune juice. Some people refresh the bowels, and some drain the bowels--thus the reference to Philemon 1:7. We sometimes need to employ the Nsync principle of Bye, Bye, Bye. This was a great illustrated sermon that I heard in Texas Sunday morning. We are all guilty of being vampires at times.
