Philippians 2:4- Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. I read this story of how snowflakes are formed. Scientists originally thought it was a two step process. The making of a single crystal and then its growth. A microscopic speck of dust is trapped in a molecule of water vapor inside the winds of a winter storm. It is then frosted with droplets of super-cooled water, becomes heavier and plunges to the earth and is sculpted by temperature and humidity. In recent decades, however, a mystery was uncovered. Scientists discovered that very few snowflakes contained a speck of dust or other particle. As snowflakes are formed, extremely dry or cold air causes them to break up into smaller parts. The small fragments then act as seeds for new flakes to develop. Therefore, most of snow is made by snow! When you look after the interest of others and help them, and care for them, and love them. Those who are sincere and truly needy, will never forget your labor of love and will remember all that you have done. They in turn will help others, remembering what it was like when they were in the same situation when you helped them. Then a snowflake effect will happen down the line. But... It all starts with a caring heart!!!
