Photographer observation: Performers are a million times less likely than simple models to completely flake on a shoot with no communication. I tend to be more surprised when models do actually show up on time (or at all) anymore. Models, if weve come to some sort of agreement, whether concrete or somewhat nebulous, its disrespectful to me (or any other photographer for that matter) to simply bail and/or not communicate. I block out time to work with you, and sometimes lose out on paying gigs as a result. Its doubly frustrating and costly to me when you then bail. It takes all of two seconds to communicate that youre unable to attend for whatever reason. Dont expect photographers to be willing to work with you in the future when you do that sort of thing. We *do* communicate with each other. Performers, thank you for being professionals who value both your own time and that of others. Yall rock!
