Photography - Its funny how a hobby can move your life in different directions. From taking pictures of cars, onto what I find is my passion, landscapes and then pushing me further into another hobby in order to enhance the original... I find myself going further and further out of my comfort zone in order to achieve great images and for landscape images that inevitably means climbing to places with a beautiful view. From the moment I set foot on Warnscale from Fleewith and Honister and saw the view over Buttermere from 1500 feet I was hooked... my mind wants to do it every week, but my aging and overweight body doesnt quite agree with me, especially carrying near on 16KG of camera gear and fluids with me. All the same, this coming Sunday, I am going to attempt the mighty Helvellyn via the renowned and potentially treacherous, Striding Edge. Im excited, and nervous at the same time. Being scared of heights isnt going to be a positive attribute for this one! youtu.be/Fqvol53GS9I
