Picking Up The Tab! By- Mike Green There is a restaurant that serves nothing but sin; we stand outside knowing it is wrong to go in. We smell tantalizing aromas that melt our minds and see appealing sights of things we feel will satisfy our appetite. We know it is wrong to go in but we feel strong enough all the still. We are seated at the finest table and the waiter takes our order, we say a little of this and little of that but when we started we came to just order one. Then we say what the hell. Give me a refill and give me dessert since I am here might as well go berserk. Others do it so why can’t I? I owe it to myself don’t I? Then the tab is placed on your table and you have no money to pay it, honestly you are just not able. The Owner (the Devil) of the restaurant has no mercy, you ate his food and now you owe him. He wants to demoralize you, shame your name, while you blame yourself for being so lame. Then the waiter (An Angel) comes again showing you your bill paid in full. He say that Man standing by the register has paid it all so you may leave (live) and have a great day after all.
