Pirates winger Tlou Segolela is amongst the Bucs players who have reported for camp in Johannesburg. Segolela’s contract with Pirates ended at the end of June, which means that he is now a free agent, however he is currently with the Bucs squad. “I’m still in negotiations with the team, so that’s one of the reasons I’m still here,” explained Segolela in an interview with Soccer-Laduma this week. “I’m in no hurry and have to respect the fact that the two parties have to meet again and hopefully conclude a deal. The meeting will take place soon and only after the meeting will we know what the future hold,” added Segolela. Segolela’s business manager,Tim Sukazi, said that he and Pirates are aiming to resolve the player’s immediate future within the next few days. “As difficult as it may see from the outside, it’s actually not that difficult because one is dealing with a willing club and a willing player,” said Sukazi. “Orlando Pirates want Tlou to remain their player and Tlou wants to remain an Orlando Pirates player. Therefore, how difficult can it be to reach an agreement? It’s a question of time in my view,” concluded Sukazi. I dont like the way Pirates handle contract issues.. KM
