Pirelli World Challenge is the longest continuously running sports car racing series in the US at 25 years. Theyve found ways to keep the series profitable and exiting. Last year the gt field got thin so they opened it up to fia gt3 cars. In my opinion its a brilliant move. Gt went from 6 to 25 cars and its the first series in the USA to allow fia gt3 cars in full trim. The GTS class has close racing, they stick to sprint races which American viewers prefer, have standing starts to add excitement and piggyback on Indy car weekends. In my opinion the organizers have made brilliant choices, but how do you guys feel about this series?
