Planet Rock: The Album by Afrika Bambaataa & The Soulsonic Force. Had to jump on the hip hop train. I thought I was into hip hop and then was introduced to this guy and others from his era and my love deepened. And the influence this stuff has on the rest of the dance and electronic music I love is undeniable. The fact he integrated groups like Kraftwerk doesnt hurt. The first 3 songs on this record are great... I dont know if you can call it a perfect but its certainly one you can play start to end. And I figured Perfect Beat was a good one to share off the record cuz Im cheesy like that. Instant party music.
