Planning another road trip. Going south this time... As my boys turned into young men and it was time for choosing a career, it was frustrating to look for a first real job that fit, when there were so many choices, and their interests did not have a simple job title such as teacher, baker, candle-stick maker... So I would repeat my motherly wisdom to them often: It will be amazing how your career will fall into place as long as you IMMERSE yourself in the ENVIRONMENT that FEEDS YOUR SOUL --and start off doing any kind work there. Yes, my words were heard. :) And no doubt would also resonate with anyone, at any age embarking on exciting new adventures. Sooo, Ive been wanting to get my Master of Fine Arts, or Creativity Studies, but Im not quite ready to move to Virginia -- yet. If I was just starting out though, it would be real tough to decide between living there or NYC. Will be nice to see my Shenandoah Mountains again though. Lived in Maryland for a few years as a youngin and spent many a Sunday afternoon up on Skyline Drive, immersed in natures best. This will be a very interesting trip. :)
