Join the Raven Banner: The call has gone throughout the Thoringian homelands looking for warriors and brave men and women to join the raven banner, headed for the distant town of Drakesford. We go to avenge a kings murder, but we will stay for wealth and lands of our own! All are welcome to join, Thoringians or forigners, all you need is loyalty to the banner and a will to thrive in adversity! OOC: Come join us in a Thoringian warband, we are a group looking for great roleplay and a viking theme, we want to roll wholesale into the new fiefdoms and kick off with a bang. Our group theme is vikings, our goal is the betterment of our own group, gaining ourselves lands and wealth. We have No group Alignment, whether you are here for vengeance, justice, wealth or fame all loyal men and women are welcome. We plan on having good costuming and equipment and are going to work so that even brand new players have a good kit and a great time. We will be having: -Costuming workshops - Armour workshops (leather, craftiflex, foam, some metalwork) - Shield workshops (vikings need them shieldwalls!) - Get togethers so we can all get to know each other and kick around ideas over a drink and a meal. We are a friendly and open group of folks so dont be afraid to ask questions and say hi, currently we have Myself Jack), James, Kerrie, Jordan, Seamus and Matthew.
