Check out a few things it can do… Arming Reminders. Based on the GPS location of your cell phone, the 2 Gig sends you a text message if you forget to arm your system. You can then arm it directly from your smart phone if you wish. Also, if you forget to close your front door and it stays open for too long, your alarm system will send you a text message. (This has actually happened to me. Twice. Don’t judge.) Automatic Thermostat Adjustments. You determine the parameters, and your thermostat will automatically move to energy-saving temperatures when you are away from home and to comfortable temperatures when you return home. It is fully programmable and can also adjust when it hits a certain temperature, or at the times you specify. Remote Door Locks. You can lock or unlock your doors from your cell phone wherever you are, and you can enter a code instead of using a key. (One less thing to worry about losing!) One Button Takes Care of Everything. When you leave your home, you can program our Plano security systems to automatically lock all the doors, turn off the lights, lower/raise the thermostat, and arm the alarm system with the touch of only one button on your smart phone, tablet, computer or alarm system keypad.
