Plans are coming together for Fall Road Trip 2014! I requested a weekend off in October hoping that the music gods would grant me a tasty show. As venue calendars filled, there are a lot of choices. I have decided to visit a city Ive only passed through and never visited. I figure I deserve to treat myself and go a little crazy... Two shows in two cities in two nights! Any more I realize this will test my stamina and my raging ability but Im up for the challenge. Friday, October 17, Cleveland, Ohio. Beachland Ballroom. Dead Winter Carpenters from Lake Tahoe, CA. Still keeping my fingers crossed for a certain opening act... Saturday, October 18, Erie, Pennsylvania. The Kings Rook Club. Big Leg Emma from Jamestown, NY. Ive loved this band for a long time and their current line up seems to indicate that there are great things ahead for these folks. Any phamily from Erie, Im looking for some info on overnight lodging, taxi service, a must visit restaurant, the best pizza joint or something fun to do on a Saturday afternoon in your fine city.
