Plastic Free July TIP 1: Avoid single use plastic shopping bags at all cost. Reusable bags are an absolute must. 1 trillion single use plastic bags are used around the world each year. Its dire! - Put them at your front door to take back to the car as soon as youve emptied them - Do NOT be kind to yourself if youre yet to break the single use plastic habit or if you just forgot that time. Its the only way to break the habit. Ever wondered if you could fit 4 avocados on special in a tiny handbag? Well, you can. You will look strange. You will feel good ;-) For seasoned plastic avoiders, lets remember in our comments over the month: Someone could be just starting out today and that is awesome.
