Platelets are low and Casey will get a transfusion after shift change tonight. Also his eosinophiles are trending up which isnt a good thing. The oncologists are concerned that something is going on and Casey is scheduled for a bone marrow biopsy tomorrow. When Casey was diagnosed his eosinophiles were shy high and they are the cells that did damage to his heart. The cardiologist thinks otherwise because he saw no eosinophilic cells in the tissue that he took from Caseys heart during the heart cath procedure.. Thought we were going to be home together but for now we need to find out asap what is happening and deal with it. Hate this emotional roller coaster we are on and would like to get off now... Our good friend and founder of Megans Wings has contacts with the lymphoma & leukemia society who shared some very interesting news with her. There is a ground breaking T-cell therapy that has proven to be successful in treating patients who have exhausted all other treatments and were on their death beds. This T-cell therapy put 90% of the patients in complete remission.
