Good luck to the softball team tonight @ Home vs. North Platte at 4:30 pm Ambush Army: The deadline has been extended to sign up. TODAY is now the final day to accept money and t-shirt orders. Tomorrow is the deadline for the 2014 Miss Plattsburg Pageant. All young women, Freshmen through Seniors, at PHS are eligible to participate. If you dont have a sponsor go ahead and turn in the form (attached to this email or available in the office) as they have extra sponsors. Tomorrow the Broadway United Methodist Church in Plattsburg is hosting a Blessing of the Pets open to people and pets of all faiths. This will be held on Wednesday, September 24th at 7:00 p.m. (with a rain date of Sept. 27th). They will be selling homemade dog treats there as well. The Tri-County Soccer Leagues 2nd Annual 3 on 3 Tournament will be on October 18th. The tournament is open to anyone ages 3 and over. The cost is $15 per 3 person co-ed team and all proceeds benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Last year, over $500 was earned. Even if you dont have any interest in playing you can help support the cause by purchasing items for $1 joining in on the silent auction for Sporting KC tickets and other items or just supporting the teams. The Silent Auction will be held on the facebook group: TCSL of MO - Sock it to Cancer. Registration forms (attached to this email) may be returned with payment to Ellis or the High School office through October 11th. The High School Science Olympiad team will have a general call-out this week. If you are interested in joining the team, please sign up in the high school office. Our first meeting will be Sunday, September 28th at 4:00 p.m. in Mr. Dickersons room. If you cannot make it to the initial meeing, please sign up in the office so information can be given to you. Events and placement in events will be discussed on Sunday. Homecoming Week September 29th - October 3rd: Dress Up Days: Monday - PJ Day, Tuesday - Western Day, Wednesday - America Day, Thursday - Throwback Thursday, Friday - Superhero Day This day will be an early out for high school students only. School will dismiss at 1:30pm. Any sports team, club or organization that would like to have a float in the homecoming parade on October 3rd need to see Caitlin Christeson or Mrs. Adam. If you plan on bringing a guest to the dance that does not attend PHS you must fill out a form in the office or your guest will not be allowed in. The dance will be after the football game on Friday night. Plattsburg Floral & Gifts, located at 208 N. Main St., is offering Old-Fashioned Football mum corsages with a black and red ribbon starting on Wednesday, October 1st they will only be $10. You can order early by calling 816-539-2021 or 816-694-9572. If you would like to order a Letterman jacket needs to see Sherri Shatto in the middle school office. If you would like to receive it before Christmas, the deadline is October 8th. The office is selling tattoos and eye black stickers. They are $.50 each or 3 for $1.00. Stop by the office to buy yours today. Yearbooks from last school year are in & can still be purchased for $55. All seniors from last year can stop by the office to pick those up. Please contact the office if you are unable to pick that up. The Booster Club is selling t-shirts again this year. If you are interested please contact Sherri Shatto in the middle school office. The design is attached to this email. T-shirts are $10 for S-XL and $12 for 2XL-3XL. Long sleeved t-shirts are $15 for S-XL and $17 for 2XL-3XL. Hoodies are $25 for S-XL and $27 for 2XL-3XL.
