Playing along with internet games. 21 facts about me. 1. My first instrument was the cello 2. I was named after the character “Kyle Reese” in the movie “The Terminator.” 3. I identify myself as Finnish, because my grandmother was Finnish. My mother was adopted so I’m 50% mystery. 4. I’ve appeared on five full-length albums 5. I’ve visited Hungary, Slovakia, and Austria. 6. My love of musical theatrics started early on, I used to sing in musicals before I ever started playing in bands. I still think about trying out for plays and stuff. I like acting and singing. 7. I was at one point, when I was wee, on the basketball and intramural capture-the-flag teams. I still really enjoy playing sports, but mostly I swim and play tennis because they’re convenient and require less people. 8. I completed my MA in social psychology in a year and a half with a 3.8 GPA. 9. I was once held overnight by police in Atlanta at the airport because someone stereotyped me as a terrorist. 10. I’ve never broken a bone. 11. I once proposed on stage to a woman in front of a sold-out crowd (the first Death to All tour, I was called up by Matt from Exhumed). She said yes, but dumped me a couple of years later. There’s still professional photos and several youtube clips of it. Regardless of the outcome, I’m proud that I made that happen, it took a lot of work. This is also why I won’t propose again for a loooong time. That can’t be topped, so I’d have to go the other direction with it. 12. I’ve eaten squid, alligator, and rattlesnake. I love trying new foods. 13. I love painting. I had a senior showcase in high school, but I never wanted to pursue art as a career. I feel like that would take the fun out of it. 14. I’m obviously a metalhead, but flamenco is one of my favorite styles of music. I absolutely love it. Someone needs to learn how to salsa or something with me. 15. I’m the rare romantic type that never runs out of cheesy things to say. 16. I pierced my ears myself when I was a teenager in a taco bell bathroom without any instruments. It was super safe. 17. Attending psychology conferences for me is as much fun as attending concerts, because I’m a super-nerd. 18. As my grandmother always reminds me, I’ve been drawing since before I knew how to walk. 19. I assistant-taught a 5th and 6th grade class when my minor was in teaching. 20. I’ve never used any illicit substances, except on occasion the incredibly rare drink. I’ve got nothing against anyone who uses different things though. I grew up in Elkhart, I always had a contact buzz. 21. I can be over-the-top for the lulz, but I know how to be reserved when called for, and I’m pretty strict on table manners, because that’s how my grandfather raised me. He was the best, and taught me how to be a good fellow.
