Playing hard to earn their keep, two of my little guys help with distraction proofing for Ted, the adorable but historically troubled #ToyPoodle. Although his separation anxiety was a key issue, he also did his share of lunging and biting at people who werent on his short list of favorites. His first couple of days here he showed the same unfriendly attitude to my dogs and the vacuum cleaner extensions. Simple as it seems, developing rock solid impulse control makes it easier for him to tolerate all kinds of uncomfortable things... and that same skill also does great things for his separation anxiety, too!
