Please Beware of some of the graphic pictures posted below.... These are the pictures we were able to obtain of Serenity the day after she arrived at the rescue... You will see the infection in her skin from the rain rot she had obtained after much time exposed to the elements with no shelter or anywhere to go to get away... You will see her full body shape, condition, and reasons given a score of 1.5 on a body scale... You will also see how much she is enjoying the hay that we were able to purchase thanks to many of you, your continued support, and donations made.... Serenity is doing wonderful, we currently have no concerns with her.. She is eating great, taking her supplements with no doubt or question... She has been dewormed.... And is getting her wounds mended with an Iodine Spray 3 times a week.... She has made a new best friend with Free Spirit our little red mini pony colt... Really you would think that it was mother and foal, if you didnt know any different... They graze together, run together, and share everything with one another.... Saturday we let Serenity out during the beautiful weather we had to graze at pasture and meet the mini ponies and cows... She truly enjoyed herself... She seemed at peace and happy......
