Please....I need help & advice. I have a 15 year old dog & she suffers with dementia. She had a massive seizure about 7 weeks ago & I nearly had to place her to sleep but miraculously she recovered. She will remain on 30mg of phenobarbital twice a day & she also takes vivitonin twice a day for her dementia. Sasha is driving us mad in the evenings with her pacing & whining. She goes round the block in the evenings to encourage her last minute business, she is not hungry & not thirsty ( water always in bowl ) we also keep a light on so she can see her way around but we have also tried turning it off to see if that makes a difference. She is deaf. She is separated from the other dogs because they get annoyed with her pacing. Both myself & my partner work shift work, so we do a day, late & night shift.....we need our sleep. I am becoming tired, grumpy, irritable because of the lack of sleep.......can anyone suggest anything that I can do. We love Sasha very much & know that it is not her fault, so some advice would be much appreciated.......to help her & to help us. Thank you.
