We are to be baptized in the NAME! The NAME is Jesus! In the name, name being singular meaning just one. John 1:14 And the Word(God) was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 10:30 I and my Father are one. He is the Father He is the Son. " THESE 3 ARE ONE, NOT EQUAL TO, BUT ARE ONE." He is the Holy Ghost. Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name (Jesus) under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. There is only one God. John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. *The spirit made Himself flesh* 1 Tim. 3:16 And without controversy (no argument) great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest(made known) in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. James 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. Luke 13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. There is only ONE GOD; the Creator of the heavens and the earth and of all mankind, manifested to mankind as FATHER (creator) SON, (savior), and HOLY GHOST (indwelling Spirit) (Romans 8:11).We are to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Jesus is God in the flesh according to 1 Timothy 3:16. There is power in the name of Jesus. Father, son and Holy Ghost are titles held by positions of God.
