Please Share: Manages accounting function in conjunction with the General Manager, CFO and CEO. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Manages the following: General Accounting Accounts payable Accounts receivable General Ledger Banking and intercompany funds transfers Monthly/Annual closings Prepares, submits and maintains sales tax for all states and Canada. Prepares, submits and maintains personal property tax. In conjunction with the CFO, assists and supports US tax preparation and submission. Works in conjunction with Customer Service, the General Manager and Sales to process sales orders in a timely way. Works with Sales to review sales contracts for appropriate terms and conditions. Assists the General Manager by preparing monthly reports for management expenses to budget. Supports the staff with timely processing of business expense reports and payments. Provides support to CFO in managing the accounting activities of the company, specifically the accounting activities. Assists the CFO with annual audits Assists the General Manager in assuring compliance to the company’s financial policies and procedures by providing training to other staff members regarding accounting processes, optimizing the accounting system elements and participation with all parts of the company. Works closely with customers and suppliers as required to facilitate good communication and maintain an excellent reputation.
