Please dont judge anyone using food stamp assistance. I do not drive a fancy car (I dont even have a car) or have any money to flash around material stuff. But I am a caregiver to my best friend of 18yrs who five years ago suddenly went completely blind and then suffered a stroke and a heart attack. I live with her and care for her 24hrs a day. She lives off social security disability. She is handicapped and its very difficult to go anywhere with her for more than an hour. So I have to go shopping for her. I use her food stamp card to purchase her groceries. I get looks all the time because I dont fit the profile of a food stamp recipient. I have an IPhone, a Galaxy watch, and I dress nicely. I dont think its fair to be judged on using food stamps, even when its not for me, just because of what I look like or what I have. People dont know the full story or reasons and therefor shouldnt judge me. Its just not nice. I am just voicing my opinion and I dare someone to tell me something about food stamps....mind your own damn business, I didnt judge you at the store and if you are stupid enough to judge me and say something to me about it I will tear you a new one!!!
