Please excuse the title of the article below as its not my intent to cast aspersions on conservatism as a governing philosophy. But the point posited by this article and the question I have often pondered in the wake of the legislative obstruction in D.C. is whether election winners should have the opportunity to implement their agenda. Unlike compromise and obstruction (which muddy the waters) allowing an election winner to implement their agenda provides clear lines of accountability thereby making it patently obvious who is responsible for which policy. Any thoughts?
