Please join UMR CONNECTS tonight as we continue to honor our military and veterans during “War and Conflicts” month. 7:00 pm at University Square, we will hear from a panel of three authors who will share their perspectives on wartime writing. Find out more at the link below. This month also marks the anniversary of the estimated 800,000 people who were killed during the devastatingly-renowned Rwanda Genocide. In three weeks we will discuss the Rwanda genocide in detail with Christie Nicoson, Program and Operations Coordinator at World Without Genocide, a human rights organization headquartered at William Mitchell College of Law. We hope you can join us on April 29 as we attempt to acknowledge the deep pain felt by the people of Rwanda, and honor them with our thoughts and hopes for peace.
