Please keep my mom in your prayers... It has been 7 days now since she has gotten any sleep except for cat naps due to the severe pain she is having. Neither ice or heat helps; neither does Ibuprophen and she cannot lie down or even sit back in a recliner without the pain increasing. My mom is a tough lady and in her years as a waitress, continued to work without complaining, even with slipped discs in her back, and now she shakes from the pain that started gradually around the holidays and is now full force.. Am keeping an eye on her as it appears that she may be starting a rash (which means she may have shingles, even though she had the shingles vaccine). Im supposed to go over there tomorrow morning, at request of her doctor, and if the rash is worse, take a picture and drive to his office before noon to show it to him..(will keep her from having to go back again) and help him confirm a possible dx. Shes been in 3x now for this problem and has had xrays that show nothing; poor mom... But, I thought that was really nice of him.. She also has an aortic stenosis and has to see a cardiologist 2x a yr with an echo every yr, so besides the stress and no sleep and high blood pressure, she certainly does not need this too... :( Please pray...
