AN 18-YEAR old Penal student has gone missing. And with the police showing no sign of actively looking for the teenager, her family has launched a desperate search. Nicole Jaggan, of Suchit Trace, left her home yesterday morning to attend classes at a hairdressing school in San Fernando. Her mother, Vicki Bhagwandass-Jaggan, said she dropped her at the junction at Suchit Trace and SS Erin Road at around 8 a.m. The teenager was last seen wearing a red jacket, blue jeans, a white hand bag with flowers and a pair of sandals. Jaggan began traveling to San Fernando on her own only three weeks ago, said relatives, who spent last night contacting her friends on Facebook and on the telephone. No one had information on the whereabouts of the girl. Relatives have approached Penal businesses with CCTV cameras to review their tapes. Family members today went to TSTT to ask for records to determine when Jaggan made her past cell phone call. The public is being asked to share the photograph of Jaggan on social media. Friends have begun handing out missing persons flyers in Penal and San Fernando. Anyone with information can contact the Penal Police Station at 647 1233, or the family at 757 3012; 473 3947; or 770 7731.
