Please note: I would like everyone to read this but the vast majority of our members are doing just fine. __________________________________ Admin deleted a entire post that erupted into a flame war a few minutes ago. Once again, please read and comply with the Guidelines document posted in the Files tab at the top of this page. We are trying very hard NOT to remove people from the site but if their posts and/or comments are so abrasive, disruptive or offensive that they cause other members to leave, be uncomfortable, or question the objectives of this site that may be our only option. Photographers on Facebook has been criticized for supporting a everybody wins policy. Well... it is a site for people to share their photography and NOT a hard-core critiquing venue. We have members ranging from absolute beginners to advance amateur to seasoned pro. Posted images can be expected to reflect that diversity. If someone asks for a constructive critique, there are nice and not-so-nice ways to respond. If you cannot find it in your heart to be nice or if the everybody wins model of this group is inconsistent with your artistic sensibilities (and I understand why it might be), then please remove yourself from the group because we are not going to change. Critiques are a two way street. If you ask for a critique and it points out deficiencies in your image that is valid. Hopefully a positive suggestion will be included to help you improve, but if not... that happens and should not be taken personally. To the 99.9% of our members who this does not apply to, thanks for your patience as we grow. We are over 8,000 members strong now and growing. :) Thanks for bearing with me and reading this. Bob
