Please read and let me know your thoughts. This may have been written already but I have not seen it anywhere. Here it goes: The media and the entire world really keeps making the claim that this war is disproportional and I agree 100%. I really do. You see, lets look at the facts (which are impossible to deny - even for the donkeys out there). Hamas is firing rockets and missiles towards cities with the intent to kill and injure as many Israelis as possible, whether woman, children, men, soldiers, elderly, etc. So a proportional response from Israel would be to do the same, right? But Israels response is not proportional, it is disproportional. You see, Israel fires rockets and missiles at known terrorist targets. How do we know this? Simple, if Israel (with the best military in the world as everyone keeps saying) wanted to be proportional in their response, Gaza would be destroyed. Its very hard to argue that. Now to make the claim that the damage and loss of life is disproportionate is like making an investment based on a strong thesis and fact pattern and then when it doesnt work out, in hindsight, saying it wasnt a good investment decision when you made it. Thats not how it works. Similarly, the result of the response does not determine whether or not it was proportional. So to conclude, I completely agree that Israels response has been the furthest from proportional to that of Hamas. If you disagree, Id love to hear why? But in doing so, please dont speak like the Palestinian ambassadors and repeat the same line over and over as a response to every question which goes like this: Has Hamas broken all of the ceasefires? Well, what about civilians dying? And is Hamas to blame for using human shields? Well, what about civilians dying?
