Please read the entire article. This guy gets it. I lived in a large metro area for over 30 years and, yes, lots of times I lived scared - afraid to go out to activities that interested or fascinated me. I was assaulted once. A man stepped from behind some bushes while I was walking and patted my butt. Doesnt sound like much but I must say that the Kansas City police response was amazing and I am grateful to this day. That was decades ago and it is a vivid, frightening moment in my life.
