April 29, 2014 PRAY FOR THE PEACE OF ISRAEL Special announcement 04/29 please pray for the Food Bank’s semi-annual yard sale to raise funds for the Food Bank ministry to provide food for the people in our community that need food. The yard sale is planned for Saturday, May 17. Please start cleaning out your closets, garage and all over the house to donate good used items for the yard sale. 04/29 please pray for God’s provision for our Food Bank ministry. There are many families in the community that come for their needs for food. You can bring the non- perishable can goods (we need peanut butter, spaghetti and sauce, Macaroni & cheese, rice and can vegetables) to the church office or send your financial support to the church address to PODCF food Bank. 04/29 Threefold Training Center (Solution for Life, Work, Community) will start the teaching about - the 1st Century Church & Kingdom living for today- from 7:00 PM until 9:00PM The first Tuesday/Thursday of each month in Room 10 in the Education Center at People of Destiny Christian Fellowship (1619 Ferndale Avenue in Melbourne.) Please continue to pray for the Lord’s favor for him to find a nice affordable apartment in Daytona closer to his office. 04/29 a great praise report from Christine Denaro (May friend in Palm Bay.) She won her battle with breast cancer and was declared cancer free when she went for her checkup two weeks ago. Thank you Lord. 04/29 please continue to pray for the total recovery for Fred Van Bever. He is improving and recovering slowly. Pray for renew energy and strength for both Fred and Niggie. 04/29 please continue to pray for Betty Whalen to regain her energy and strength. She has been checked by her doctors and all her tests seem to be okay, but, she is still feeling weak. 04/29 please continue to pray for Bonnie Miller (May’s friend in West Palm Beach) who was diagnosed with an advanced stage 4 rare breast cancer. She is having a really tough time now with chemo treatment. Please pray for peace and comfort of the body and a lifting up of the spirit. 04/29 please pray for Norma (May’s friend) in Lebanon for her protection there. The situation in Lebanon is still very unsettling. Please pray for Norma’s energy, safety, provision and protection from our Lord Jesus while working in Lebanon. 04/29 please pray for May’s friend Dexter (from SC) who has been unemployed for a few years. He is looking for IT position in banking and finance. 04/29 please continue to pray for Norma Zengotita to be able to find a good job in Augusta GA where she and her family have moved to. 04/29 please pray for Betty and John Whalen’s grandson, Matthew that he would allow the Lord to draw him to Himself. 04/29 please continue to pray for Jimmy McClellan’s daughter and her husband Craig for their marriage and family. 04/29 please lift up in your prayers for those in our congregation as well as in our community that are unemployed/ under-employed and are going through financial struggles.
