Please share: Ever hear anyone say it’s just a cat? Think they will be ok out on their own? Think they can fend for themselves? Sadly this is the condition we see many many stray/feral cats arrive in. This poor fellow was thrown out to be a cat. Here he is terrified, covered in wounds, abscesses, ear infections, fleas, ear half torn off, broken teeth, ripped out nails and an eye destroyed by who knows what means....think he is the exception? He is not, he is the normal for a cat left to fight for territory, the right to breed, compete for food etc......this is no life for a cat. We commend the NBSPCA changes to laws regarding dogs but we must push for stronger laws/ penalties regarding cats. Viewing them as pests or disposable animals is not acceptable. Change starts with education, information and a voice. Let us hear yours!!!
