(Please share) To the people who want to make a difference telling others what should be done, while your sitting on your couch and doing nothing else to help the animals this is for you. We have helped hundreds on animals this year alone. Actually over 800. So answer this for me please. Does anyone really think that us as volunteers, with no shelter facility can take every animal that needs help from abuse, neglect and other forms of cruel actions into our homes? Everyone knows we help the animals that have no one else to turn too. Does anyone think that we should just leave them to suffer because we cannot take them into our homes? Does anyone know how many rescues pull animals from shelters to adopt them to homes? The people that are complaining about animals being put down at shelters need to step up and do something about it, and stop complaining and whining about what someone else is doing or not doing. I mean if you have a problem with an animal that was taken to the shelter, you could step up and help or adopt right? Are we all saying humane law enforcement should be holding people accountable for abuse? Well surprise, When that happens the animals go to a shelter. Do You want to call and tell them to leave the animals being abused so the animals dont end up at a shelter? Thats ridiculous. If the dog has been terribly abused and not safe for a home can you give your animals to a friend so you can take them in like I do ? If anyone thinks because we are a bunch of tough guys, that we dont shed a tear when animals have to be put down you are terrible wrong. It kills us emotionally and effects out personal life greatly. We stay up all night sometimes just thinking about the animals that still need help. Tonight I am up in so much pain for work I have done helping animals today. I took so many rescue dogs in to my home that most others would not even look at. I have had my personal dogs with friends for about a year now so I could take care of others that needed me. You dont think I miss my own babies? They are being taken care of very well while I take care of others that need me. Are you aware if how many dogs we have that are not even up for adoption ,that we have kept sanctuary for over two years now because they are not safe to adopt to the normal family? Do you not think shelter workers have the same emotional hard time as we do? Do you all know that every shelter worker I know, including myself , with tears flowing have hugged and kissed a dog and softly petting them as they are being euthanized telling them that we are sorry we could not do more to help all of them. After you think about all of that, and you still want to call us or shelter workers murderers and killers, you may want to leave this page because next time I will not be so nice. Wolf
